2024 Championship | Louis Brown, 61, of Marietta, Ga., captured the 69th U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, defeating Dan Sullivan, of Pasadena, Calif., 4 and 3, in the 18-hole final at The Honors Course, in Ooltewah, Tenn. Brown is a former professional who played all over the world before becoming a partner in a financial services firm. He became the fifth player from the Peachtree State to claim the U.S. Senior Amateur. This was his third start in the championship, while Sullivan, a two-time U.S. Mid-Amateur semifinalist, was making his first appearance. To read more, click here. |
