The 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur will receive at least four hours of live broadcast coverage:

Attendance to the U.S. Junior Amateur is complimentary and does not require a ticket for admission. We invite you to attend all days of the competition. Fans should enter through the public gate located on the east side of Gilbert Lake Road north of Maple Road. Entering the property from any other point is prohibited and considered trespassing.
There is no on-site fan parking at Oakland Hills. Complimentary parking with shuttle service to/from the championship is provided at three nearby locations:
RED LOT: 20500 Civic Center Dr., Southfield, Mich.
WHITE LOT: 25800 Northwestern Hwy., Southfield, Mich.
BLUE LOT (Bloomfield Hills H.S.): 4200 Andover Rd, Bloomfield Twp, Mich.
Shuttle service at each lot begins at 6 a.m. daily, with the final return shuttle departing Oakland Hills 30 minutes following the conclusion of the day's play.
Ride share services and passenger drop off are only permitted at Lot C – 3856 W. Maple, which is a short 5 minute walk from the fan entrance.
Ride share vehicles are NOT permitted to pick-up or drop-off at any other location around the championship grounds. All on-site parking lots are by permit and parking pass only.
We ask that you respect each player’s complete focus on preparing for and playing in the championship. If you are requesting an autograph, please wait until they have concluded play for the day.
Fans may carry mobile devices smaller than 7-inch in length and/or height including cellphones, smartphones and PDAs at the U.S. Junior Amateur and use them for limited purposes on the championship grounds, subject to the following restrictions:
All device volume controls must be set to “silent” or “vibrate” at all times.
Phone calls must not be received or placed in any area that may disrupt play.
Texting and email are permissible throughout all areas of the golf course but use should NOT disrupt players.
Violation of the above policy may result in immediate expulsion and loss of ground privileges for the remainder of the championship.
A variety of food and beverage options will be available for purchase at several locations on the property. Many of the offerings can be found at the central concession tent located along the 1st hole fairway on the South Course.
No Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms or knives)
No Explosives and/or Fireworks of any kind
No Tablets and/or Computers (mobile devices smaller than 7" are permitted, subject to mobile device policy)
No Drones
No Selfie Sticks
No Cameras (point and shoot, film, or DSLR) or Video Cameras (other than practice round days, for personal use only)
No Noise-Producing Devices (including portable speakers)
No Backpacks, Briefcases, Purses and/or Bags larger than 6" W x 6" H x 6" D in their natural state
NOTE: Transparent/clear plastic hand and shoulder bags no larger than 12" W x 12" H x 6" D are permitted.
No Signs, Posters and/or Banners
No Food and/or Beverages except for medical or infant needs
Water bottles (32-ounce size or less, no glass) are permitted provided they are empty
No Glass, Coolers, Aerosol Cans and/or Spray Bottles except for medical or infant needs
NOTE: Personal-care items (3-ounce size or less) are permitted.
No Pets (other than service animals as defined by the ADA assisting disabled individuals)
No Lawn Chairs and/or Oversized Chairs (carrying cases are not permitted)
No Ladders and/or Step Stools or other similar items
No Bicycles allowed inside admission areas or on the championship grounds
No other items or actions deemed unlawful, dangerous or disruptive by the USGA and/or Championship Security Personnel, in their sole discretion
NOTE: The USGA reserves the right to amend the List of Prohibited Items at any time to provide a safe and secure championship.
The USGA will communicate important safety information to fans through special alerts and we will have Rules officials and general staff communicating to any fans specific instructions if there is inclement weather.
A suspension of play for dangerous conditions will be indicated by one prolonged air-horn blast. In the event of a suspension of play, the grounds will be cleared immediately. If lightning is detected, please avoid open areas, hilltops, high places, isolated trees, golf carts and wire fences, and seek shelter immediately. Play will resume as soon as conditions allow.
The Oakland Hills Country Club Golf Shop will be open daily with a wide selection of U.S Junior Amateur and Oakland Hills Country Club-branded items including apparel from leading brands such as Peter Millar. All major credit cards accepted. Cash will not accepted.
