2024 Championship | Northern California teenagers Sarah Lim, 17, of Saratoga, and Asterisk Talley, 15, of Chowchilla, defeated fellow teens Brynn Kort, of Henderson, Nev., and Gracie McGovern, of Paradise Valley, Ariz., 4 and 2, in the 18-hole championship match at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. This title continued a strong 2024 season for Talley, who had already won the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley and finished eighth in the Augusta National Women's Amateur coming into the event. A month later, she would share low-amateur honors in the U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally and be the runner-up in the U.S. Girls' Junior in July. To read more, click here. |
