2025 Championship | Dawn Woodard, of Greenville, S.C., finally broke through and captured that elusive USGA championship with a 20-hole victory over Sue Wooster, of Australia, at the Omni Homestead Resort's Cascades Course, in Hot Springs, Va. The Furman University graduate was coming off a quarterfinal showing in the 2024 championship. This was Woodard's 35th USGA championship. Wooster suffered her fourth defeat in a U.S. Senior Women's Amateur final. To read more, click here. |
