Clark successfully navigated both stages of qualifying to earn his first U.S. Senior Open start. He posted a 72 at The Homestead on April 28 and then shared medalist honors at Miami Valley Golf Club on June 1. Clark teamed with John Bumgarner to win the 2025 West Virginia State Golf Association Senior Four-Ball. Clark is from Hurricane, W.Va. He played collegiately at Marshall University and was inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011. He was a two-time All-Southern Conference performer in 1995-96. He briefly spent time as a club professional at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club and won the West Virginia State Open in 2001 and 2012. He is a reinstated amateur.
