Bio
The Kalispell, Mont., resident will play in his first U.S. Senior Open after getting into the field as the first alternate from the Goodyear, Ariz., qualifying site. Malby had shot a 71 at Tuscany Falls Country Club, then won a 4-man playoff for first-alternate status. He is the PGA club professional at Iron Horse Golf Club, in Kalispell. He has been at that club for the past 13 years. He previously worked at Village Greens Golf Course. He played collegiately at the University of Idaho from 1990-93.
