The 51-year-old will make his U.S. Senior Open debut after surviving both stages of qualifying. He advanced from The Homestead local qualifier in Virginia and then posted a 2-under 68 at Manor Country Club in final qualifying. The George Mason University product has competed in three PGA Championships. In 2018, he was the Mid-Atlantic PGA Section Player of the Year. In 2017, he claimed the PGA Teaching Professional Championship and he was the runner-up in the 2007 PGA Match Play Championship. He is the director of golf at Trump National Golf Club, Washington, D.C., in Sterling, Va.
