Final Qualifying: Shot 70 at Shadow Ridge Country Club, in Omaha, Neb., on June 9

Devlin, a professional who resides in Alabama but grew up in Northern Ireland, will make his second consecutive U.S. Senior Open start after tying for 55th at The Broadmoor. He posted a 2-under 70 at Shadow Ridge Country Club, in Omaha, Neb., to nab one of the five available sports. Devlin moved to the U.S. when he attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham (1996-2000). He later helped future U.S. Open champion and fellow Royal Portrush member Graeme McDowell at UAB by giving up some of his scholarship money to make sure McDowell enrolled at the school. Devlin played professionally in Europe and got into three Korn Ferry Tour events before getting his amateur status back and winning the 2024 Trans-Miss Mid-Amateur by a whopping 14 strokes that included a first-round 63 at Brasada Ranch, in Oregon. He also qualified for a pair of U.S. Amateurs, including the 2021 championship at Oakmont C.C. at the age of 46, and followed up by qualifying for the U.S. Amateur (Cherry Hills) and U.S. Mid-Amateur (Sleepy Hollow C.C.) in 2023 . He returned to professional golf when he turned 50. Devlin qualified for the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines during his days as a professional. He founded Priority Care Connex in Birmingham, Ala., after hurting his back upon retiring from pro golf. It is a medical services organization and value-based care network. The company focuses on preventive medicine, chronic condition management, and the enhancement of personalized patient treatment plans.
