Bio
Devlin, a professional who applied for amateur reinstatement, will make his second consecutive U.S. Senior Open start after tying for 55th at The Broadmoor. He posted a 2-under 70 at Shadow Ridge Country Club, in Omaha, Neb., to nab one of the five available sports. Devlin grew up in the Republic of Ireland but moved to the U.S. when he attended the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Helped future U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell at UAB by giving up some of his scholarship money to make sure McDowell enrolled at the school. Devlin played professionally in Europe before getting his amateur status back and winning the 2024 Trans-Miss.
