Final Qualifying: Shot 65 at Golfcrest Country Club, in Pearland, Texas, on June 1

The Welshman, who turned 50 last October, will compete in his first U.S. Senior Open firing a 7-under 65 at Golfcrest Country Club, in Pearland, Texas, to earn medalist honors. Donaldson owns 10 worldwide professional victories, three of which have come on the European Tour (now DP World Tour). His last title was the 2014 D+D World Czech Masters. He also has three victories on the European Challenge Tour and captured the 2015 Thailand Golf Championship on the Asian Tour. Prior to turning professional in 2000, Donaldson won the 2017 Welsh Amateur Championship and the 2000 Welsh Amateur Open Stroke Play Championship. Since turning 50, he has won twice on the European Senior Tour, including the 2026 Staysure Marbella Legends. He represented Great Britain & Ireland in the 2000 World Amateur Team Championship, and was on the victorious 2000 GB&I St. Andrews Trophy Team.
