Crane, a five-time PGA Tour winner, will make his U.S. Senior Open debut in his first year of eligibility. He turned 50 on March 6 of 2026 and joined the PGA Tour Champions. He was the runner-up to Stewart Cink in the Senior PGA Championship in Florida. He also tied for 10th in the Mitsubishi Electric Classic. Before turning 50, Crane registered eight worldwide professional victories. His last PGA Tour win came in the 2014 FedEx St. Jude Classic. His lone top 10 in a major came in the 2004 PGA Championship (T-9). Crane grew up in Portland, Ore., and originally attended Baylor University, but did not play on the golf team. He later transferred to the University of Oregon, where he played for the Ducks until he graduated in 1999.
