Final Qualifying: Shot 66 at El Caballero Country Club, in Tarzana, Calif., on June 15

The Phoenix, Ariz., resident qualified for his first U.S. Senior Open by taking medalist honors at El Caballero Country Club, in Tarzana, Calif., with a 5-under 66. Kamin attended Bradley University and later turned professional, playing on the NGA Hooters Tour, PGA Tour Canada, Asian Tour and one season on the Nationwide Tour in 2005. He later regained his amateur status. He advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2025 U.S. Mid-Amateur at Troon Country Club, in Scottsdale, Ariz., and he was the runner-up in the 2025 Arizona Match Play Championship. He also qualified for the 2024 U.S. Mid-Amateur. He won the Arizona Stroke Play Championship in 2022 and 2023. In 2022, he claimed the Arizona Mid-Amateur.
