The Waxhau, Fla., resident qualified for his second U.S. Senior Open by navigating both stages of the process. He shot a 71 at Florence (S.C.) Country Club on May 7 and 12 days later, posted a 2-under 70 at Treyburn C.C., in Durham, N.C., to garner one of the five available spots. Williams qualified for the ISPS Handa Senior Open last year and the U.S. Senior Open in 2024. Over his career, Williams has competed in one PGA Tour event and three Korn Ferry Tour events. He tied for sixth at the Florida Senior Open in consecutive years (2023 and 2024).
