F-2: Winner of 2014 U.S. Senior Open

The 2014 U.S. Senior Open champion has been a model of consistency in the championship, making 10 cuts in 11 appearances. Montgomerie claimed the 2014 championship at Oak Tree National Golf Club, in Edmond, Okla., defeating Gene Sauers in a three-hole aggregate playoff. The next year, Montgomerie was the runner-up to Jeff Maggert at Del Paso Country Club, in Sacramento, Calif. The native of Scotland owns seven victories on the PGA Tour Champions, including three majors. He claimed consecutive Senior PGA Championships in 2014-15. During his Hall-of-Fame career -- Montgomerie was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2013, he claimed 54 worldwide titles. He was the runner-up to Ernie Els in the 1997 U.S. Open and lost a playoff to Els (Loren Roberts also in the playoff) in the 1994 U.S. Open. He also placed solo third in the 1992 U.S. Open, and shared runner-up honors in 2006 at Winged Foot. He was the runner-up to Tiger Woods in the 2005 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool (Hoylake). Montgomerie, who amassed 31 victories on the European Tour (now DP World Tour), represented Europe in eight Ryder Cups, and captained the 2010 side to victory. He also competed for Great Britain and Ireland in the 1985 and 1987 Walker Cup Matche, and represented GB&I in the 1984 and 1986 World Amateur Team Championships. He also owns a record eight Order of Merit titles from the European Tour.
