The owner of 10 worldwide professional victories will make his 10th U.S. Senior Open start, thanks to carding a 3-under 69 at The Legend at Bergamont on June 2. Goydos turned professional in 1989 after playing his collegiate golf at Long Beach State. He registered two PGA Tour events: the 1996 Bay Hill Invitational and the 2007 Sony Open of Hawaii. He also posted one Ben Hogan Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) victory. Since joining the PGA Tour Champions, Goydos has amassed five titles, the last coming in the 2017 3M Championship. In 1996, he was inducted into the Long Beach State Hall of Fame. At the 2010 John Deere Classic, Goydos became the fourth player to post a 59. He also served as a vice captain for the 2010 Ryder Cup Matches that were captained by 1994 U.S. Open champion Corey Pavin.
