Final Qualifying: Shot 68 at Miami Valley Golf Club, in Dayton, Ohio, on June 1
The former UCLA standout will make his sixth U.S. Senior Open start after firing a 3-under 68 at Miami Valley Golf Club. Jobe will return to Scioto where he made his U.S. Senior Open debut in 2016. A year later at Salem Country Club, he finished solo third, thanks to a third-round 62. Jobe owns 16 professional victories, six of which came on the Japan Golf Tour and two more on the PGA Tour Champions. His last victory on the senior circuit came in the 2019 Boeing Classic. Recently, Jobe has dealt with a number of injury issues. He has played steadily despite a freak accident in his garage at home. After slicing his hand and severing several fingers with a shattered push broom, Jobe had significant hand and wrist surgery in 2003. He never won on the PGA Tour, but has tied for second place four times, including two in 2005 when he played on a major medical exemption. He was the Order of Merit winner on the Asian Tour in 1995. Five years earlier, he captured the same title on the Canadian Tour. His son, Jackson, was selected third overall in the MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers in 2021 and is one of the organization's top pitching prospects. He missed most of the 2025 season due to injury.
