The former University of Florida standout and native of Pittsburgh, Pa., is set to make his ninth U.S. Senior Open start. Dunlap had made the cut in his first seven Senior Open starts before failing to play the weekend in 2025 at The Broadmoor. Dunlap owns 13 worldwide victories, two of which have come since turning 50. He claimed the 2014 Boeing Classic and the 2024 Insperity Invitational. He also posted a pair of wins on the Nationwide Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) and Canadian Tour. Dunlap spent most of his childhood in Sarasota, Fla., before signing to play at Florida., and in 1985 he was named Golfweek's Male Amateur of the Year.
