Perry is one of eight players to have captured multiple U.S. Senior Open titles. In 2013, he posted weekend rounds of 64-63 at Omaha (Neb.) Country Club to best 2009 champion Fred Funk by five strokes. Four years later at Salem Country Club, in Peabody, Mass., he posted 16-under 264 to edge Kirk Triplett by two strokes. A Kentucky native who played collegiately at Western Kentucky, Perry amassed 14 victories on the PGA Tour, including Memorial Tournament titles. Since turning 50, Perry has registered 10 PGA Tour Champions wins, including four majors. Besides his two U.S. Senior Open wins, he won the 2013 Constellation Senior Players Championship and the 2014 Regions Tradition. He was named the PGA Tour Champions Rookie of the Year in 2011 and the circuit's player of the year in 2013. While he never won a major on the "regular" tour, he was the co-runner-up in the 2009 Masters and the runner-up in the 1996 PGA Championship. He also tied for third in the 2003 U.S. Open. He was a member of the 2004 and 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup Teams and four Presidents Cup Teams. Off the course, Perry created Kenny Perry's Country Creek Golf Course, a public facility near his hometown of Franklin, that opened in 1995.
