Kittleson, Stoltz Complete Quarterfinal Win

Less than 12 hours after their quarterfinal match was suspended due to darkness, Scottsdale, Ariz., residents Drew Kittleson and Drew Stoltz completed their comeback win over Tennessee teenagers Blades Brown and Jackson Herrington, 1 up. Brown, who turned 16 on Sunday, made a 10-foot birdie putt on No. 18, forcing Kittleson to convert a 4-footer to close out the match.

Kittleson and Stoltz, the runners-up in 2022, were 3 down at the turn before winning four holes on the second nine to take a 1 up lead through 16. Both teams tied No. 17 and play was halted because of darkness.

They now face 2022 semifinalists and co-medalists Carter Loflin and Wells Williams for a spot in Wednesday afternoon’s 18-hole championship match.
