Krissy Carman, 27, Eugene, Ore.

  • Playing in her second USGA championship (2018 Four-Ball)
  • Won the 2022 Oregon Stroke Play Championship
  • Medalist at the 2022 Oregon Amateur
  • Runner-up at 2022 Oregon Mid-Amateur
  • Played collegiately at Oregon State (two years) before transferring to Portland State University
  • 2016 Big Sky First-Team All-Conference
  • Carman’s mother, Suzanne, played collegiately at Oregon State and met her husband at Rose City Golf Course in Portland
  • Mother of a 2-year-old son, Conrad
  • Stepped away from competitive golf for three years (2018-21) and returned to the game when she and her husband, Mitchell, brought their son to the golf course in a jogging stroller

  • Advanced to match play in the 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur at Chambers Bay, the only mid-amateur to do so
