Bio
The 2009 winner of the PGA Championship is set to make his fifth consecutive start. Yang owns 13 professional victories, two of which came on the PGA Tour. Besides his PGA win when he overcame Tiger Woods to triumph at Hazeltine National Golf Club, he also claimed the 2009 Honda Classic. When he defeated Tiger Woods, it was the first time the nine-time USGA champion had failed to win a major when holding the 54-hole lead. Yang owns one victory since joining the PGA Tour Champions, the 2024 Ascension Charity Classic. Besides his PGA victory, Yang tied for third in the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club.
