F-7: Winner of 2001 and 2004 U.S. Open
F-15: Players who qualify for the 2025 season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship
F-19: Winners of PGA Tour Champions co-sanctioned events from 2025 U.S. Senior Open to the initiation of the 2026 championship
The two-time U.S. Open champion will make his seventh consecutive U.S. Senior Open start. Goosen registered his fourth PGA Tour Champions victory in September at the Sanford International. His first title on the 50-and-over circuit was a major as he claimed the 2019 Bridgestone Senior Players Championship (now Kaulig Companies Championship). The South African registered seven titles on the PGA Tour and 14 on the European Tour (now DP World Tour). Goosen's first PGA Tour title came at Southern Hills Country Club when he defeated Mark Brooks in an 18-hole playoff for the 2001 U.S. Open. Three years later, he one-putted 11 greens in Sunday's final round to edge Phil Mickelson to win a second U.S. Open, this time at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. In 1987 while playing with friend Henri Potgieter, he was struck by lightning in his native South Africa. Goosen doesn't remember what transpired but he survived the ordeal to become one of the game's elite competitors.
