The Denver, Colo., native will make his fourth U.S. Senior Open start. Bertsch owns eight worldwide professional victories, including the 2020 Charles Schwab Series at Bass Pro Shops Big Cedar Lodge in a playoff over Glen Day, Bernhard Langer and Kenny Perry. He also posted three victories on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry). Prior to playing golf, Bertsch was a top tennis player, but gave up the sport after losing to future world No. 1 Andre Agassi in 1994. Bertsch played collegiately at Texas A&M. His best career finish on the PGA Tour was a share of fifth in the Greater Vancouver Open in Canada. He also qualified for a pair of U.S. Opens, missing the cut on both occasions.
