Stricker compiled one of the most dominating performances in U.S. Senior Open history by shooting 19-under-par 261 on the Warren Course at Notre Dame to claim the 2019 title. The 261 total smashed the championship scoring mark. Stricker has competed in four U.S. Senior Opens and finished no worse than solo fourth (2024 at Newport C.C.). He shot a final-round 65 to only come up a stroke short of Padraig Harrington at Saucon Valley Country Club in 2022. The native of Madison, Wis., who attended the University of Illinois, Stricker amassed 12 PGA Tour victories, which included three wins in the John Deere Classic. Since turning 50, he has registered 18 PGA Tour Champions titles, including seven majors. He represented the United States on three Ryder Cup Teams and captained the 2021 side to victory in his home state at Whistling Straits. He also played on five Presidents Cup teams and captained the winning side in 2017.
