Bio
The all-time wins leader in PGA Tour Champions history claimed his two U.S. Senior Open titles a remarkable 13 years apart. He won his first in 2010 at Sahalee Country Club, in suburban Seattle, Wash., holding off hometown favorite Fred Couples. Then just two months shy of his 66th birthday in 2023, Langer held off home-state favorites Steve Stricker and Jerry Kelly to win at SentryWorld, in Stevens Points, Wis. That gave Langer 46 career senior victories, one more than five-time USGA champion Hale Irwin. Langer now owns 125 worldwide victories that also includes a pair of Masters titles in 1985 and 1993. Since turning 50, he has amassed 12 senior major championships. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2002. Langer represented Europe on 10 Ryder Cup Teams, and he captained the 2004 side to victory.
