Adventures of Padraig Harrington, On and Off Course

Padraig Harrington has had a roller-coaster first two days at SentryWorld in his title defense of the U.S. Senior Open. But after a 3-over-par 74 on Thursday, Harrington chose not to head to the practice facility. Instead, he took his mind off the golf in a local theater with his son – the two had tickets to the latest Indiana Jones film starring Harrison Ford. Although his 15-year-old son, Ciaran, fell asleep during the movie, 51-year-old Harrington enjoyed the action-packed flick, even offering up a review. “A bit of nostalgia in it,” he said. “I would've watched them all coming up, so plenty of action and it wasn't too outrageous. [Ford] wasn't trying to play a 20-year-old man, so I found it very entertaining. It was long and I didn't find it long. Enjoyed every minute.” Harrington’s own adventure this week continued with an even-par 71 on Friday, a round that included four birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.
