USNDP-Sponsored Tournament Exemptions
No, although you are in the grant program, it does not guarantee you an USNDP-Sponsored Tournament Exemption to an AJGA event. Our selection process considers various factors such as PBE status, the number of AJGA events the athlete has played, scores, yardages, and other metrics.
No, not necessarily. Although not guaranteed, athletes in the grant program can be eligible for up to two (2) USNDP-Sponsored Tournament Exemptions per calendar year. However, just because an athlete received two (2) exemptions the previous year does not guarantee the same for the next year.
No, exemptions are only granted to Previews, Junior All-Stars, and Open events.
No, currently we can only provide exemptions into non-invitational AJGA events.
Our goal is to provide athletes exemptions into events within their state or region. For example, if the athlete resides in Florida, they will likely receive an exemption to a Florida-based AJGA event.
Although not guaranteed, you may reach out to fill out a tournament request form here. Requests will be taken into consideration when allocating exemptions.
Our Team will take your choice(s) under consideration and will follow up with you if an exemption is offered within 2 weeks prior to the AJGA's registration deadline for that respective tournament.
No, our exemption spots must be assigned weeks in advance of the public registration deadline for the AJGA, and it's not possible to accommodate last-minute exemption additions.
No, the tournament entry fee and travel expenses for an AJGA exemption will not need to come out of your original USNDP Grant. A member from our USNDP Grants Team will follow up with more details if your exemption is accepted.
