2025 Walker Cup Tickets FAQs

All grounds tickets for the Walker Cup will be delivered to recipients digitally via SeatGeek accessible via the USGA App. Mobile tickets will be delivered to the SeatGeek account utilized when purchasing or accepting transferred tickets. Fans will not be permitted to enter the gates without a mobile ticket or the proper championship credential. Screenshots do not permit entry. Eligible mobile tickets can be transferred in advance utilizing the USGA App. Fans can view transfer instructions here.

The 2025 Walker Cup will be held at Cypress Point Club from Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7.

A practice round for both teams will be held on Friday, Sept. 5. Competition days will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7.

To equitably address the demand for tickets and ensure fair distribution, all single day public tickets were sold in advance through a random selection process, after receipt of an online application.

The application period is now closed. All applications submitted by the deadline (Friday, April 18 at 4 p.m. ET) were included in the random selection.

All public tickets for the Walker Cup offer grounds only access for fans to walk the fairways with the game’s future stars. Food and beverage are available for purchase at concession areas located on course.

Due to several factors, most notably, a historic playing at one of our country’s greatest venues, as well as tremendous excitement around amateur golf, there is a lot of interest in attending this year’s Walker Cup.

Taking into consideration the unique terrain and architecture at Cypress Point Club, as well as the limited amount of competitive play on course at any one time, attendance will be capped to an appropriate and manageable number each day.

To have been eligible, applicants were required to be at least 18 years old at the time of submission and to complete the application online. Mailed applications were not accepted. 
 
Each person was allowed only one submission. Any individual who submitted multiple applications may have had all entries disqualified at the sole discretion of the USGA.

During the application period, each adult applicant could request up to four tickets per day. Only one application per person was permitted.

If selected, applicants may receive any combination of the ticket preferences they indicated during the application process.

All juniors aged 17 and under must have a ticket to attend the 2025 Walker Cup. Junior tickets were only available through the advance application process and will not be available on-site. These tickets are non-transferable.

As part of their application, adult applicants could request up to two (2) complimentary junior tickets per day. If a complimentary junior ticket request is not fulfilled, juniors may use any fulfilled paid ticket at the ticket holder’s discretion.

All paid tickets for 2025 USGA Championships have been digitally delivered to recipients. Mobile tickets were delivered to the account utilized when completing the purchase of a ticket(s). Fans will not be permitted to enter the gates without a mobile ticket QR code. Screenshots do not permit entry.

No. Screenshots of our digital tickets will not provide access to the grounds of the Walker Cup. Tickets must be scanned directly from the QR code located in the app.

No, the USGA does not have discounted or complimentary tickets available for senior citizens or military personnel for the 2025 Walker Cup.

Daily re-entry to the grounds is not permitted except in limited instances. Please refer to your digital ticket for additional information. Any exceptions to the re-entry policy for medical purposes or emergencies may be granted by the USGA in its sole and absolute discretion if approved in advance. Sunday, September 7: Competitive Matches – Day 2

  • Gates Open: 7 a.m.
  • Four Foursome Matches: 8 a.m. – 8:45 am. (15-minute intervals)
  • Ten Singles Matches: 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. (10-minute intervals)
  • Closing Ceremony: 7 p.m. (1st Fairway)
  • Grounds Close: 7:30 p.m.

Yes. While staying in touch with friends and capturing your experience is encouraged, please note the following:

  • Silence your mobile device and disable flash.
  • Make phone calls only in designated fan zones.
  • Mobile device use, photography, video, and audio recording are permitted throughout the course, but should not disrupt play.
  • Captured content may not be used for commercial purposes.
  • No live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage (with or without video) is permitted.
  • Violation of the mobile device policy may result in expulsion and loss of ticket privileges.

No Backpacks, Briefcases, Purses and/or Bags larger than 6" W x 6" H x 6" D in their natural state. Transparent/clear plastic hand and shoulder bags no larger than 12" W x 12" H x 6" D are permitted.

Please note that to expedite admission into the Match, it is recommended that all prohibited items are safely stowed prior to arriving. All fans will go through security screening prior to entering the grounds of the Match.

There will be no on-site parking at Cypress Point Club during the Walker Cup. All event parking including special needs/ADA) will be located at the Pebble Beach Special Events Field (3350 Portola Rd, Pebble Beach, CA 93953). Directional signage will be in place to assist with event parking and traffic flow from Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7.

Fans wishing to use rideshare must also utilize the Pebble Beach Special Events Field (3350 Portola Rd, Pebble Beach, CA 93953). Rideshare vehicles should follow event signage to the designated drop-off and pick-up areas. Drop-offs and pick-ups directly at Cypress Point Club are strictly prohibited.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from Cypress Point Club and the Pebble Beach Special Events Field.

To support traffic management around Cypress Point Club, a temporary detour will be in effect on 17-Mile Drive.  Traffic will be rerouted via Spyglass Hill Road, Stevenson Drive, Drake Road, Sombria Lane, Portola Road and Madre Lane. The detour will be active from approximately 5:30am – 8:30pm daily from Friday, September 5 through Sunday, September 7. Those accessing 17-Mile Drive for the Walker Cup will not be required to pay the vehicle entrance fee.
