Match Overview

The Curtis Cup is a biennial amateur golf competition featuring eight players from the United States and eight players from Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I). The 44th Match will be held June 12-14 at Bel-Air Country Club, in Los Angeles, Calif.

The first two days of competition feature three four-ball matches in the morning followed by three four-some (alternate shot) matches in the afternoon. The final day of competition features eight single matches. One full point is awarded for each victory, while a half-point is earned for matches that are all square after 18 holes. GB&I needs 10 points to retain the Cup, while the USA requires 10.5 points to reclaim it.
