Bio
Ehler advanced from both stages of qualifying to earn his first U.S. Senior Open start. He just became eligibile on May 25. Ehler posted a 70 in his local qualifier at CommonGround Golf Course and then shot the same score in final qualifying at Shadow Ridge Country Club, in Omaha, Neb. Ehler is a longtime coach and physical education teacher in Scottsbluff, Neb. He coached the girls' team at Scotsbluff High from 2017-2025. He has coached the boys a lot longer. Ehler grew up in Scottsbluff and attended Chadron State and earned his master's at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
